The NBA 450 (Reference: 60700) is an advanced ring and ball softening point tester designed in compliance with ASTM D36, ASTM E28, IP 58, ISO 4625, and NF EN 1427 standards. It offers a temperature range of up to 200°C and features four preset test methods for water, glycerine, glycol, and silicone oil, providing flexibility for a wide range of testing applications. The instrument automatically detects the softening point using an optical cell barrier and allows two samples to be tested simultaneously for improved laboratory efficiency. It is equipped with an 8.4-inch capacitive color display, 320 GB of storage capacity, adjustable heating rates, and variable stirring speeds, while a built-in fan provides rapid cooling at the end of each test. The NBA 450 is supplied with beakers, shouldered rings, balls, a holder, a Pt100 sensor, a mechanical stirrer, a magnetic stirrer, a magnetic removal stick, a magnetic ball dropper, centering guides, a molding plate, and all the essential accessories required for convenient operation.
