Astacus² Ultra Pure Water System
The **Astacus²** water purification system is designed to produce ultrapure water from reverse osmosis permeate or deionized water. Available in **Reagent, Analytical, and Life Science** configurations, the system can be tailored to meet the specific ultrapure water requirements of different laboratory applications. The **Analytical** version is equipped with a UV lamp to achieve low TOC levels, while the **Life Science** version combines UV treatment with an ultrafiltration module to provide low TOC and low endotoxin levels. An optional integrated TOC sensor enables continuous online monitoring of the water’s TOC content.
The Astacus² offers flexible installation options and can be configured as a **benchtop**, **bench-integrated system with an external panel**, or **wall-mounted unit with an inclined display**. Its integrated **μS-control** continuously monitors the conductivity of the feed water to protect the purification cartridges from unsuitable input water. If the conductivity exceeds the permitted level, the water flow is automatically rejected, ensuring reliable system protection and consistent water quality.
